Jamie_webJamie Turnbull, Physiotherapist

Jamie Turnbull has worked as a physiotherapist for over 6 years. He earned his Biology degree at St. Francis Xavier University before completing his physiotherapy degree at Dalhousie University. Jamie’s treatment approach has been influenced by working in a multidisciplinary setting in Toronto for 5 years, combined with international work experience at various physiotherapy settings in the Netherlands and Australia.

Jamie’s career choice was determined early in life when a human anatomy and physiology unit in elementary school sparked his interest in health care. To understand the functional intricacies of the human body, and to pass that knowledge onto others has become his passion.

Jamie is very happy to be back in the province in which he was raised. He feels fortunate to live in such a beautiful province, and takes advantage of our tremendous geography by exploring Nova Scotia as often as he can through hiking and frequent road trips. His favorite way to unwind is to grab his guitar and spend time in the great outdoors with family and friends.

Keltie_webKeltie Cheney, Physiotherapist

Keltie Cheney graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2003. Since then, Keltie has worked in the private physiotherapy sector in Montreal and throughout the Halifax region, and has worked at One to One Wellness Centre since 2005. Keltie enjoys playing any kind of sport, especially hockey, tennis, and hiking, though she now fills her extra time playing with her son, which keeps her more active then ever!  Keltie's main interests are treating clients suffering from pain, disability, or musculoskeletal illnesses. She enjoys educating and implementing strategies for prevention of age-related health concerns and sits on the board of executives of the Nova Scotia Physiotherapy Association.

Nick_WEBNick Matheson, Owner / Physiotherpist

Nick Matheson is the owner of One to One Wellness Centre and has worked as a physiotherapist for over 14 years, since graduating from Dalhousie University in 1995. He has focused primarily on pain management and has trained with notable clinicians from all over North America and the world. His passion for healthy aging and preventative medicine was borne out of a brief personal experience with disability following a major abdominal surgery in 2004. He envisioned a new way of approaching fitness and rehabilitation that would help answer the most pressing questions and address the most urgent needs of an aging population.

Nick never stops asking why and always seeks better answers. His philosophy of constant improvement colors everything he does. It is evident in his commitment to helping his clients, the evolution of his business, and the unfolding of his personal life. Nick has been married for 12 years and has four wonderful children who inspire him to “live strong” every day.
